Q: Where are you located and where do you do service work?
A: We send a local service tech from our Florida service area, usually within about a 5–10 mile radius of your home or business. There are no separate travel time charges. Most repairs are done on-site so we can test your equipment on your own internet connection and with your own programs.
Q: Why would I want a tech to come to me rather than taking my computer to a shop?
A: Moving a desktop or tower can cause more problems if something gets jostled or unplugged. More importantly, your computer should be tested on your own internet, printer, and equipment to be sure it is truly fixed. Laptops also benefit from being set up at your home in most cases.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: We give you an estimated price range over the phone (the least it will cost and the most it will cost) BEFORE we arrive. When we get to your location, the price is put in writing. We generally charge by the job, not by the hour, so you know what it will cost up front.
Q: Is there any extra charge for weekend work?
A: No. Our rates are the same 7 days a week during normal hours when scheduling allows.
Q: Do you sell and install virus protection or backups?
A: Yes. We can provide antivirus and backup solutions that are designed not to slow down your PC or bombard you with pop-ups.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, check, credit cards, and debit cards.
Q: Where are you based?
A: We are based in Florida and focus on Volusia County and nearby surrounding areas. A local tech is dispatched as close as possible to your location.
Q: How soon can you come to my home or business?
A: In many cases, same day or by the next day, depending on your location and our schedule. There is no extra charge for normal weekend appointments.
Q: Do you offer remote support?
A: We may use remote tools in some follow-up situations, but we do not offer remote-only repair as the initial service due to security concerns. We want you to know exactly who is working on your equipment.
